You love your dog like a member of the family so you want to give it a special room of its own. You can create a wondrous room in your house with special decor picked out just for your best friend. Follow these tips to make a dog room that any dog would love.
Instructions
1. Make a bed on the floor. Make sure it's the right size for your dog. Get a soft pillow and cozy blanket. You can buy special dog beds if you want something more luxurious. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors. You can find everything from fancy wood to designer fabric.
2. Pick carpeting that hides stains and dirt. Paint the walls a soothing color that calms your dog like light green or light blue. It can match your own home decor.
3. Add a chest of drawers for all your dog's accessories like collars and hats. Put treats on a shelf out of reach. Put brushes on the dresser and dishes for food and water on the floor.
4. Hang outfits in the closet on little hangers.
5. Provide a toy box for toys. Make sure there are toys in the room for your pet to play with. Put extras in the box.
6. Play soothing dog music with a sound system or speakers.
7. Keep the room air-conditioned. Make sure there is a window that opens. Install blinds on the window to keep out the sun.
