Indoor Water Parks In Sioux Falls

An indoor pool keeps the fun going through the harsh Midwestern winters.


Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is the largest city in the state and has seen its population grow dramatically since the 1970s. From wineries to a corn maze to art galleries, the city offers something for rural and urban tastes. As a hub for visitors, Sioux Falls includes plenty of lodging options including campgrounds, a few bed and breakfasts and hotels with many amenities, even indoor water parks.


Buccaneer Bay Water Park


The Buccaneer Bay Water Park inside the Ramada Hotel and Suites offers water fun for all ages. The park includes a two-story slide and pirate ship for the kids and hot tub, lap pool and full service poolside bar for the adults. The hotel itself is near downtown Sioux Falls and includes a free shuttle to and from the airport, arcade and video lottery casino.


Castaway's Bar and Grill, located in the hotel, offers a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The downtown location also provides easy access to a variety of other dining options from fine cuisine at Minerva's to Buffaloberries healthy eating.

Splash-RAGEOUS


A stay at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel includes six complementary wristbands to the indoor Splash-RAGEOUS water park complete with slide, activity pool and water features just for kids. Holiday Inn Express


Located just 5 miles outside of Sioux Falls, the Holiday Inn Express in Brandon, South Dakota, includes an indoor water park with raft slide and giant bucket of dumping water. Hotel guests receive wristbands to the water park when they check in. The attraction is also open to non-guests on Sundays for a price of $10 per person, as of October 2010.


The Holiday Inn serves a complimentary breakfast and offers a complimentary evening reception on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from downtown Sioux Falls, which has a variety of restaurants and shops, or stay in Brandon and check out local spots 212 The Boiling Point or the Brandon Steakhouse.
