Indiana Schools for Dog Training
Getting your dog proper training will help it to be obedient, protective, happy and well-mannered. Training for dogs can begin as early as when the puppy is only 8 weeks old, and for older dogs as well. Depending on your preference the training can occur either in a class or in home. Pawsitive Energy Agility and Dog Training Center is located in Columbus, Indiana. This school offers classes for puppy training, obedience and agility. The puppy class will teach your pup socialization skills and play training, while the obedience class, is for older pups and dogs that need to work on manners and basic training. The agility class will teach your dog skills for sport and exercise. All of the dogs must have up-to-date vaccines and current vet exam.

Quick's Pooch Plaza, in Evansville, Indiana, offers motivational dog training in groups, in private lessons or at your home. Quick's main focus in training is obedience and socialization skills, to help you and your dog better communicate with each other. Quick's Pooch Plaza also provides boarding and day care for dogs.
Conifer Canine
Conifer Canine focuses on training dogs for protection and security, but they do also offer kennel classes, private lessons and in-home obedience training. Located in Bloomington and Terre Haute, this family-owned business also breeds and sell German Shepards.
Flying Paws Agility Club
Flying Paws Agility Club is in Freedom, Indiana and offers agility classes in four courses. Course one is for pups 6 months and older and builds a foundation and introduces obstacles. Course two is for 9-month-old puppies and older and focuses on independent obstacles, while course three is for 15-month-old dogs and older. The fourth course consists of various specialty classes. Flying Paws also provides private lessons and open practice for puppies 9 months and older.
