Blank Park Zoo

The Small Discoveries exhibit for children seven years of age and younger is equipped with a giant bubble maker, a miniature Toddler Town, a life-size pin screen and a puppet theater. In the What on Earth exhibit, visitors can create a tornado, see small creatures from around the world and explore a bat cave, while the Why the Sky exhibit offers interactive astronomy activities. The center offers overnight programs with access to the exhibits, an IMAX film, snacks and complimentary next-day passes. Birthday parties at the Science Center of Iowa include a party room and host, loot bags and interactive activities.
Sleepy Hollow Sports Park
Sleepy Hollow Sports Park is open throughout the year for seasonal outdoor sports. During the warm weather, visitors can ride on the bumper boats or go-karts, play a round of 9-hole golf, brave the 30-foot-tall climbing wall or play a game of volleyball. During the winter, the park offers visitors the opportunity to go snow tubing, skiing and snowboarding. The park offers free lessons for beginners in each sport. Birthday party packages at the park are available during the warm weather and include the Grand Prix Pass package with go-kart or bumper-boat racing, mini golf, batting in the batting cage, wall climbing and an inflatable obstacle course.
