Painting a beagle face on a child will require a steady hand and a steady face. The most famous beagle is Snoopy, although some kids will want a more traditional brown, black and white beagle. With a little bit of time and effort you can paint your child's face to complete a costume, or simply as an activity at a party or a festival. The longer you spend on the face paint, the more detailed the costume will be.
Instructions
1. Use the sponge and the white face paint to paint a section of white on the face. This section should include all of the nose and all area under the cheekbones. Beagles are characterized by a long white strip down their heads, so continue the white stripe until you get to the hair.
2. Wash the sponge out and use the brown face paint to cover the rest of the face, which should be the forehead and the area around the eyes. Have the child close his eyes when you are painting this area.
3. Wash the sponge again and add the black areas. Draw a circle on the tip of the nose and a thin line going down the filtrum to the top lip. Draw dots on the area between the nose and lip. Paint the lips black if your child is old enough to avoid simply eating the paint.
4. Paint a red tongue sticking out of your child's mouth if you wish to add a finishing touch.
5. Complete the look by making floppy dog ears, which will easily identify the costume as a beagle. Attach a pair of brown socks onto a hairband, which will be a simple and effective way of finishing an beagle costume.
