You have worked all week, and now you are ready to wind down by hitting the nightclub. Depending on your location, there are some things you will need to do to get into a nightclub. There are a lot of horror stories out there about people not being able to get into a club. Most of these horror stories are the result of one not knowing what she needs to do to get into the nightclub. Having the party attitude is not enough to get you into a club. You have to look and dress the part.
Instructions
1. Arrive to the nightclub early. If the nightclub is popular, you might have to wait in line. Sometimes the wait can be a few minutes, while other times it could be an hour. Do not arrive to a nightclub drunk. Bouncers will view you as one that will cause trouble when inside the club; therefore, they might deny you entry into the club.
2. Dress appropriately. Typically, nightclubs do not allow you to wear baggy jeans and sneakers. Check with the club to see what its requirement is for attire. Commonly, nightclubs require men to wear denim or dress pants with a classy dress shirt and dress shoes. Women should dress casual but keep it classy. A nice two piece should do the trick.
3. Behave appropriately. Be polite and friendly to those around you. You never know who knows who. While waiting in line, mingling with others is a good idea. Sometimes, this can be your ticket into a nightclub, especially if you are alone.
4. Show identification. Present your identification card at the door. Make sure you already have it out and ready. There is nothing worse than waiting in line for a long time, and a person in front of you does not have his identification out. Do not try to gain entry into a nightclub if you are underage. Nightclubs typically scan identification cards, so having a fake I.D. will not work.
5. Pay the cover charge. Typically, nightclubs have a required cover charge on top of the required attire to gain entry into the club. Make sure you have enough money to cover this. It will get you into the club and save you from embarrassment.
