Dog Tag Card Using Layering
Computer users familiar with custom graphic software can create the picture of a dog tag to fill the entire card. Choose the rounded rectangle tool and make it large enought to fill the card. Draw a small circle to look like the hole at one end, and create a chain with textured balls. With the use of layering techniques you can add grey coloring and enhance with a layer of metal texturing. The text may be beveled with contours and shadow to make it look like it is raised.

This option offers a good choice of dog tag pictures and allow the business card creators to write their message on top of the image. The image of the dog tag may be large to fill the entire card or small enough to allow other images to be added to the card.

Dog tag business cards can be used to promote military-oriented businesses. A graphic of military dog tags over a camouflage background could be used to promote a military supplies company or other services or goods related to the armed forces. Other images could include airplanes, ships or tanks, depending upon the service represented.

A dog tag business card could be created to promote the actual sale of custom dog tags. The message shown on the transparent tag may include the name and phone number of a dog, superimposed over a picture of a sad dog locked in the humane society kennel or a happy dog being reunited with its owner. The business card may be cut to the shape of a dog tag and can have a metallic finish to make it look like a real dog tag.
